I never imagined
you could hurt me like this,
I don't even want to fathom,
my life without your kiss,
but as time leaves
my side ever so slowly,
I wonder now,
if you ever took the time
to really get to know me,
because if you did
you'd know lying surely
would pain my heart,
you'd know that lying,
would tare my hopes apart.
But still you did it anyway,
what does it matter,
you knew I would stay.
I need you in my world,
I just cannot give up
and walk away.
Through my tears,
and all my strife,
I still love you,
you are my life.
You love me like no one can,
you hurt me that way too,
to treat me like this,
please tell me,
what in the hell did I do,
because no one deserves
the treatment you gave,
I can't take this pain again.
I cannot be your slave.
There are no words to describe,
all the suffering,
you have put me through,
words come out of your mouth,
but now how can I believe you.
Did you ever take the time
to really get to know me,
because if you did,
then you wouldn't make me cry,
