At night i pray,
That maybe this hurt,
Might just fade away,
Fade into nothing.

At night i pray,
That maybe the smile i once wore,
Will come smiling back,
And a smile on my face,
Won't always be the thing i lack.

At night i pray,
That tomorrow me will come shining through,
And, Just for once,
I don't have to pretend to be you.

At night i pray,
That when we next see the sun,
I'll have friends that will always be there,
Ones that really do care,
With a shoulder to cry on.

That tomorrow might just be a better day.
