Lingering Question

by Shædow Poet   Oct 27, 2004

It's lingered on my cherry lips
Swimming through all my dreams
Its drenching my soul wet
Echoing through my childish screams.

There's nothing I feel more perilish
Than this madness haunting deep
It's tied me up in silver chains
Written in my tears, whilst I weep.

She caused a corruption between our lives
And split us both right up
What happened to the love that was present?
How can this girl do so much to corrupt?

Three letters spinning in my head
One syllable so clear
It's the topic rolling through my mind
Dripping through my tears.

So whilst I wrap up my deep angst ramblings
One word simply corrects all my thoughts
I scream
I yell
I cry
I say
This word that's lingering is so plain
Why?
