What is left,

by tormented   Oct 27, 2004

*suprise im ashley. i figured id put the poem where it belonged. since i did write it. special thanks to my friend who introduced u to it.*

What is left to rise,
when the world around you falls,
What is left to sing,
when the songs are over and done,
What is left to touch,
When your left with nothing,
What is left to Seek,
When you've sought out all the rest,
I used to believe in miracles,
i used to have faith that love would always find a way,
And when they turned you to ash,
i couldn't bear it again,
We took a pendant,
full of you to keep,
And to sprinkle you in separate places,
you you'll be every where you loved to be,
You taught me the true meaning of
"Ring around the Rosy"
And on the nights when i couldn't sleep,
You were the first one to comfort me,
you made me a promise,
that you'd meet me by moonlight, though hell should bar the way,
and yet night after night you have never came back for me,
So what am i left to rebuild with,
like a bomb you've wiped me clean,
You left me devastated,
their are no survivors,
No way to make it a new me.
