theres nothing you can do to make it wait
while the clock ticks
so does it, ticks of taunting
and ticks of haunting
making fun of each step you take
and laughing with every breath you breathe
as hard as you work to hold on
and as strong as you stay
and no matter how hard you try
its not going to wait
you may beg and you may plead
and sooner or later you might bleed
but its more complicated then that
it doesn't understand
understand that you need time
more time then what you've got
you cant make a decision that fast
or find love and make it last
everything happens so quickly
you better get on board though

because liefs flying by
