Gentle Tears

by Daniel Solomon   Nov 6, 2004

Salt drenched tears that form.
Run down your thalidomide hurt face.
It never stops, it only gets reborn.
And you continue to fall from grace.
Never loved. Your gentle face was never touched.
The sadness flows through your heart.
A voice cries and your tears run.
How could life be so harsh?
The rain falls but not like before.
And the trees dig their roots deep in the dirt.
God enters your life through the core.
As the water soaks deep within the earth.
