Before you read this I wanted you to know that this poem is not about me. It s about my friend, Ariel and her ex-boyfriend. So i hope you like it!

IT was the best relationship i ever had until you started making me sad
You used to beat me like your child my friends thought I should leave alone for a while
But i couldn't go, i don't know, I just loved you so
Maybe it was the way you made me feel your soft gentle touch just gave me the chills
I loved the way you made me smile but putting your hands on me was just foul
You used to kick me and punch me in my stomach I remember seeing your face you just loved it
You used to slap me in my face and throw me to the floor you used to beat me until I got sore
One day you hit me and called me a whhore that's when i knew I couldn't take it any more so I walked out the door
Now i have a real man that loves me and he would never ever put his hands on me
