Don't hang up

by Mild insomnia   Nov 7, 2004

I keep my eyes closed,
When you call,
So I don't know,
You're not here at all.
And I'm falling,
Into a dream,
As I'm calling,
You here to me.

If you are my god,
And I think that you are,
Would you just knock,
Upon my door,
Step inside,
And drop the latch,
Stay tonight.

Don't hang up on me,
Don't say that you are gonna have to leave,
Don't leave me hanging,
On the line,
Stay here tonight.

I can feel you,
With each breath you take,
And I hold onto,
Each word you say.
Still I know it's,
Only in my head,
My heart's in bits,
From what I've said.

If you are my god,
And I think that you are,
Would you just knock,
Upon my door,
Step inside,
And drop the latch,
Stay tonight.
