Four Battles of Existence

by Daniel Solomon   Nov 8, 2004

Creating more life.
Destroying it, abortion isn’t right.
We keep creating weapons of mass destruction.
Using them on each other, we begin to destroy our evolution.
Apart we destroy things.
Together we are nothing.
How can we fight, when we need help?
How can we fight, when we conflict within ourselves?
Feeling and calling.
Creeping and crawling.
Our determination starts the domination.
Mantis that is tall, ants that are small, no matter what the sizing.
United one and all, prepare for the insect uprising.
Eating to survive.
Killing to stay alive.
The beast inside is always there.
Changing our lives, our primal instinct.
Creating it all was a simple mistake.
It’s beyond your reach the world is mine to take.
Fighting for existence, without the convenience of futile resistance.
Beyond it all: god, animal, insect, and man.
At the end of it all, who will be the last to stand?
