It's Over

by Pauly D.   Nov 10, 2004

I don't want it,
Take it back.
Stop thinking we're all right,
By the way you act.

It's not the same,
just look at you.
It's all a game,
That's what you do.

Why do you pretend,
And act like you still care.
Do you not remember when,
You filled me with despair?

Why try now,
When you didn't try then?
I know what you're about,
You're not my friend.

I thought that you were true,
you had your certain ways
There was nothing I could do,
When you don't talk for days.

You've made me learn.
You've made me see.
You're a waste of time,
So just leave me be

Paul, that's totally uncalled for. You have to talk too. It's not a one way kind of thing. She tried to, but you just made small talk so that made her uncomfortable so she didn't know what to say. She did care, she still does. I can't see why you don't see that too. What do you want her to say when you just nod your head at her and give her a smirk? What would you say to that if she did it to you? You look so serious when you do it. You can't hold your remorse against her. It didn't work out as bf/gf, but it still could have worked out as friends. She tried, but you never talked to her. Maybe there were just communication problems or whatever, I don't know. But that's no excuse to say harsh things like that. If you think that she was a waste of time, why did you even bother? It was good writing though. Even though it was about her. I can still appreciate the poetic sense...Buh Bye Pauly D, it's been real.
