Autobiography

by Broken Inside   Nov 11, 2004

Sullen but cheerful
Feisty but relaxed.
Living in a fake world,
With fake people and hidden secrets.
All oblivious to anything true.
I used to be one of them,
Someone who went along with everyone else
So I could be considered “cool”.
When reality finally sank in,
The truth poured out.
My true colors could finally show.
People like me are corrupted from the start.
We can’t see how much it really hurts ourselves.
By the time we finally see,
The damage is already done,
The life of such perfection,
Now left in the dust.
