A prayer-
I pray, yes I do pray,
Infact I pray everyday,
Seldom not in front of a statue or a frame,
I think such a compulsion is a shame,
Because God is in everybody’s heart.
Seldom do I pray for myself,
Often it’s for everyone else,
I pray for myself once in a while,
After all I am a human,
But praying for myself, I think makes me selfish,
So usually you will find me asking nothing to the almighty
Because I am satisfied with what I have
Enjoying the present,
And excited to meet the future,
I believe asking nothing gives Him a little breathing space.
And He needs it too.
In my prayer I thank Him for giving me what I have,
For considering me worthy enough to live another day,
For keeping everyone around me safe and sound or at least alive,
And those who are suffering it’s His right decision.
