Another day and another lie

by joey   Nov 12, 2004

The more and more i think
the more it comes to mind
as your beauty unfolds
that's when your love reveals the truth
that your love has been worn away by time
and yet you still lie saying your mine

the fake tone in your voice
and the lie in the call
how you never lie at all
fallacious words and fallible smiles
and i'm supposed to trust
the one overflowing with elsewhere lust

your the one who has me enamored
you've unmasked my exuberant heart that now lays in the open
imperiled by your fraudulent feelings
spurred by your lies, my faith in you has been crucified
its now the cross of loneliness where i've been hammered

desperate tears stimulated by the primitive fears
irresolute steps lead on to the reflection in the mirror
where a delirious hallucination is of you standing here
reminiscing begins of this dearest loss
and the fairy tale plays over and over again

words sang hellishly above my thoughts
just another lie, another day
yet more cries, and even less of a way

its got to be the end, but its only a new start
its just the torture that comes from being torn apart.

This poem is sooo sweet. I know what it feels like to hurt like that. It sucks a lot. I don't know what else to say, but your poem is really pretty.
