Hatred for Be(LIE)ving

by Jacob Davis   Nov 15, 2004

I wish I could tear parts away,
Leave the behind me,
Let them fade out in a thousand shades of gray,

These memories of us being together,
The dream of it lasting forever,
Trying to bring these thoughts of you to never.

Hating myself for ever believing,
That I could ever love.
Trying my limits in life,
Pushing beyond and above.

I feel as if I’m being strangled,
Held to the floor by ball and chain.
I feel trapped and tangled,
In a web of your twisted mind games.

So here we are,
I lay us on the line.
Where we go from here is a choice of yours,
Not mine.
