When We Said Goodbye

I sit and wonder
Where I went wrong
Every time I hear the radio
Playing our song.

I'm sorry I wasn't what you wanted
But I promise I tried
I held back none of my emotions
I had nothing to hide.

I can remember when we
Were the very best of friends
But after we fought
We never tied up loose ends.

I'm really surprised
That our parting didn't bother me
But I'm still not sure
What it was I failed to see.

It's not that I'm hurt
I'm done feeling sorry for you
