Darkness

by Driver   Nov 19, 2004

Darkness creeps through this rusted lost life and crosses the path. Pendulum swinging with the time running crazy, and the world spins out of control with a stain on my heart. I stare out the window watching the time pass me by. Being grabbed by the hands of time and rushed out of the door, I saw you last night, but not anymore. Moon shines bright giving off some light for this unholy world. Confessions ring in the dark and there’s no one left to hear them. Speak loud and clear and open your eyes. They’re so wide shut you don’t want to wake. Just have no fear, take a step; no matter what happens I’m here. Cause it doesn’t even matter how hard you try, you always end up wondering why. Why did you turn out this way? Or why did time throw you down? Too many questions with not enough answers just break you down. How much longer can you hold on, before you’re the front paper for your hometown?
