30 seconds

by Krete   Nov 20, 2004

Its OK, its just fine.
Its out of reach,
out of my mind.
I don't seek it out;
The rhetorical effects in my dreams,
All they do is make me wheeze.

Still; those Thirty seconds of flashing bye,
Thirty seconds of a hands goodbye,
Thirty seconds where my frail-self fails and I begin to die.

Never forgotten,
I recall you each day.
Despair in my life,
peace in yours.

Those thirty seconds flash me bye,
Those thirty seconds begin my cries,
Those thirty seconds to shoulder all the blame...

I'm lost at times,
inside of a web made from you,
a mystery of illusions,
An addicts house of Horror and bliss filled dreams.

The Thirty seconds I recall from time to time,
Those Thirty seconds of such sad rhyme,
Thirty seconds just flashing bye.

Sadness keeps to enduring,
As I am yearning,
for your spirit burning.
and if I could kiss goodbye,
Or I could hold your hand,
I might as well as stand aside you; inside with you.
But Dreams are frail; weathered things.

Its alright I'll stay put in this Jail.
And Its ok with me now: Trains do Derail.
