Please Don't Leave Me

You called me up late at night
you told me that it's time
I tried to convince you to keep up the fight

You've got scars up and down your arms
you say it's the only way out

Your parents hate you
but I love you and always will
who cares what your parents think
please don't let them get to you

Just drop the knife and the weed
come into my arms and I'll show you the way

Just please don't leave me
I'm your only hope
as you are mine

If you leave who will I turn to?
who will I call for help?

You tell me that you love me
but you don't feel as if you belong

"Please don't give up" I tell you
there's much more life up ahead
and if you just hang on a while longer things will get better

I know you're broken inside
but just open up your eyes

Listen to what your telling me
I know you don't mean it

Then I hear you scream
"PLEASE NOT AGAIN!!!"

You've got blood running down your gorgeous face

You pick up that knife
you tell me good bye

I scream at you to stop

*SILENCE*

You drop the phone
I can hear your sobs
I come running
but it's to late

You left me a note saying:
"I'm sorry but I couldn't take the hate."
