A mere existence

by Shaina Ahenger   Nov 27, 2004

Your courage inspires me,
Though there is not much to put forth.
To think your still smiling,
After the hardships you've been through.

You make me think about my life,
How and what I should accomplish.
Your sense is very keen,
And each year your wisdom shows.
Attitude is no issue of yours,
A loud tone is one you do not use often.
Fulfilled love is what you gave,
I am changed forever by your words,

Every beat you play on the drums,
I can hear frequently in my dreams.
I miss the memories we once had,
You are the mere existence that completes me.
