Upon the bloody horizon

by chikidiwa   Nov 30, 2004

Upon the bloody horizon
I saw where my future lay
Long before I begin to wizen
Or a single hair turns gray

My eyes will not be open
Not a single breath shall be sought
I will lye there utterly broken
Due to the life for which I fought

So tonight I make the decision
To change this worthless fate,
On my wrist make a little incision
And take on that coma like state

It wont be anything unique
They’ll probably blame it on drugs
The bottle they’ll critic
Say it was just too many chugs

Because none of them can understand
The pain behind my eyes
None of them have known first hand
A world with so many lies

So tonight I leave them
I’ll just go on without fear
My soul you eternally condemn
Though I was never truly here….
