Rain Drops

Sitting in the rain
Cold and uncollected
With nowhere I can go
Misunderstood from your perspective

God, why don't you hear me as I scream?
Crying with the rain
What were tears- I cannot remember
To me drops are all the same

I need to find somewhere
To match some mood of mine
Looking towards somewhere to sit It seems desolate
The spot where I can cry

Sobbing I wish to lay
Underneath the pouring rain
Soak up any reason left
Some kind of ecstasy I can sustain

Here I wait
Here I will remain
But I find no answers in the rain

Plummeting towards darkness
Beneath the ice I see
The teardrops as they fall
Overpowering me

All around I witness such beauty, Nature all I see
But lying in a coffin
I can feel no such beauty in me

Lighting strikes in hatred
how my dejection will appear
why does the rain inside not show?
Why can't I paint in tears?
