In Forests...

by »«¤ß詤»«   Dec 4, 2004

In forests deep and dark with rain,
are mysteries you can't explain.
where woody giants seem to sleep,
and green things climb and creatures creep.
where trees stretch big and high,
and birds stretch their wings to fly.
on quiet waters dark as night,
or sparkling ponds of crystal light.

Living in the forest,
clinging to a tree,
catching a mossy rock,
creamy orchards i can see.
Fresh scent upon the air,
it takes away my every care.
Floating sweet upon springtime breeze,
among flowers and giant gum nut trees.

Magic rainbows in the sky,
the Lorrokeets are passing by,
colors flashing in the sun,
seems everyone is having fun,
below upon the forest floor,
there i sit wanting more,
at that moment little frogs of bright green,
suddenly decide to make themselves seen.
