Spite Me Not

by FTS Miles   Dec 6, 2004

Spite me not and call me brother,
Though the anger lingers in your heart.
Stab me not and take my hand,
Though your dagger starves for blood.
Slander me not and learn my essence,
Though the knowledge birth remorse.

Look in my eyes and see my goodness,
Before the world consumes us both.
