The elderly rememberance

by Semaran   Dec 6, 2004

I stutter first,
"Now i remember!
my time of birth,
is in september!"

"memory returns again,
and feel now the weight of truth.
those times of pain,
We now call youth."

and drifting of in chair,
this aging man was blind now see.
he finds his heart and soon his soul,
in whirling dreams of memory.

"..and once when i was child.."
he says in leaking voice.
and with an air of misery,
he lives in honor of his choice.

A suffering smile for me he gives
"this is my secret.. listen close!
live life by reason, life by love,
and forget about your childhood ghosts!"

"Live your past just once,
follow the heat!
and with those words...
his hearts last beat.
