My Most Favorite Time of the Year...

by HOLLY ARMER   Dec 8, 2004

From the twinkling lights to the spread of good cheer.
This is my most favorite time of the year.

The hustle and bustle as you shop store to store.
Buying loved one's presents and goodies galore.

Candy canes and bows, decorating the tree.
A star at the top for everyone to see.

Standing under the mistletoe, awaiting a kiss.
Children telling Santa the toys on their list.

People huddled together as they watch the parade.
With family and friends, memories are made.

Kindness from strangers, a unique gift of love.
Caught in the spirit that's sent from above.

A luminous feeling radiates far and near.
Making Christmas my most favorite time of the year.
