Disagree

by Mild insomnia   Dec 10, 2004

I was only just walking, down our street,
When I saw you talking, with that girl Elise,
She was clearly flirting; by the way she stared,
In my heart it’s hurting, cos I don’t think you care.

You know I’m not one to get wound up over little things,
But honey I can’t stand her and the chaos that she brings!

I’ve seen her type,
I’ve heard her name before,
I know no one buys,
Her lies anymore,
Baby can’t you see?
She’s the opposite of me!
But if it makes you happy…
Then maybe I don’t disagree.

Walked into my door, just couldn’t think straight,
After hitting the floor, tripped over the garden gate,
You looked like you did, just before our very first kiss,
Sweetie I really want rid, because I can’t take all of this…

Yeah I trust you enough to be round another lass,
But I honestly hate it so make sure this one’s your last!

I’ve seen her type,
I’ve heard her name before,
I know no one buys,
Her lies anymore,
Baby can’t you see?
She’s the opposite of me!
But if it makes you happy…
Then maybe I don’t disagree.

I really felt the jealosy in your poem... I thought it was awesome how trusting you were. Take it from a guy... sometimes we think with the wrong head and then wind up being very sorry for it in the end... keep up the great work.
