Change The World

by Your eyeliner is laughable   Dec 11, 2004

Maybe my life isn't important,
Not rich but not to poor,
Maybe I can't change the world,
Clean the streets up and the sewers,
I can't feed all the homeless,
End famine pestillence and war,
But maybe if we speak together,
We'll bring our views to the fore,
We could tell a million people,
Save a million lives,
If we just all band together,
Children, husbands wives,
The world will keep on spinning,
It won't stop just for me,
But maybe if I at least try,
I could change history.
Maybe in a small way,
No mountains will be moved,
But perhaps if I spare a little time,
Someones suffering could be soothed.
So lets us work together,
Making lives more worth while,
And when we die the angels we helped,
Will sing us through the sky.
