Miss you

by Just Lisa   Dec 13, 2004

When I first met you,
We were both so glad.
I smiled every time I saw you,
Even if I was really sad.

When I think of you, it hurts my heart
Because I loved you so much and I can't understand why,
That we have to live so far apart,
And there's nothing I can do about it, no matter how hard I try.

Now that you're gone, my hearts so sore,
Just the thought of not being with you anymore.
And because you're not here I feel so alone, I don't even try,
Because I can't seem to tell myself that this was our last goodbye.

I use to think about what it would be like if you were gone away,
And now I'm wishing I would have had just another day.
Just to spend one more day together,
So that I could hold you in my arms and be together forever.

I miss you so much and I know you miss me too,
Because no matter what happens you 'll always be in my heart.
And even though we're not together and we've started out new,
I'll always have the memories, that'll never be torn apart.

So the next time you miss me,
And the next time you feel blue,
Think of the good times we had that made us happy,
And just remember that I miss you too.
