Ten Thousand

by Your eyeliner is laughable   Dec 14, 2004

Ten thousand tears,
All I want is a smile,
Ten thousand more,
As I choke on my bile.

Ten thousand children,
Crying inside,
Ten thousand troubles,
That no one can hide.

Ten thousand lovers,
When your all I need,
Ten thousand roses,
My fantasy feed.

Ten thousand mornings,
You tear down my soul,
Ten thousand days,
With a heart so cold.

Ten thousand words,
When one picture will do,
Ten thousand knives,
The pain without you.

Ten thousand problems,
More everyday,
Ten thousand more tears,
Are coming my way.

Ten thousand mirrors,
Smashed in my mind,
Ten thousand droplets,
Of blood left behind.

Ten thousand forgotten,
Bleeding souls,
Ten thousand winters,
Take their toll.
