No Second Thoughts

by lisa marie   Dec 15, 2004

You are so oblivious to the actions you make
I’m stuck inside a bottomless pit and you watch me
You watch me struggle to get free
Exactly how does that make you feel?
Are you that blind to everything that goes around
I’m sitting in my room pleading to god
Laying on my floor naked and weeping
And you hear me crying-
But somehow block it out
I’m sitting here asking for help
And ripping apart my life
But you’re too busy getting high and drunk
Trying to hard to hang out with everyone
Won’t hang with me because “I’m no fun”
The never ending teasing and arguing
Walking through this world with my head down
Do you find pleasure in not caring at all?
If that is the case you shouldn’t be startled-
When you walk into a blood covered room
And me crying for something and reminding myself
As tears roll down my face
“I’ll never look back, I’m flying away.”
You’re standing there clueless to the whole ordeal
I drop to my knees and slowly start to state.
“I’ll never look back, I’m flying away with my back towards the world and no second thoughts”

thats why i write what the poem is about under it and this one is basically about having a friend who is never there because they are too busy with things and you are having a tough time but they just dont care....
