Please, Divinity...

I’ve had the only person
That’s overwhelmed my heart
Ripped right through my fingers
And placed us different parts

It slashed my heart in half
Removed harmony from my soul
Annihilated what and who I was
Made me no longer whole

Oh please divinity, don’t destroy me again
I’ll do anything, let here be where he remains
Don’t do this to me again, keep us together
Any day without him just isn’t the same

I need his affectionate touch, to maintain my breath
And his every word, to keep my spirit bright
Taking him away would be stealing my sun from my sky
How can I endure your sinister world lacking my only light?

I can’t imagine how I’d reply to the damage
That would be completed in his absence
Don’t spoil my bliss to further extent
Just keep him here in my presence

    those two stanza's really seemed to jump out at me when i read the poem. it was well thought out and it seems that it was definately encouraged by something in your real life..everything works out for the best...but sometimes the best is the worst at the time.
