The book

by Jacqui Armstrong   Dec 19, 2004

I’m feeling down and miles away
I feel I’ve turned and walked astray
This morning I was happy and alive
Now I feel a pain to survive

I don’t know how I don’t know why
I want to sit alone and cry
I don’t understand how it changed
But some how my life rearranged

I know I’m not but I feel alone
This feeling is one that’s unknown
In a matter of hours all this can go on
I feel my depression has again won

This is what was written in little Lucy’s book
The day that she was found hung upon that hook
Her brother so annoyed with her mood
Decided to end the terrible feud

He hung her there to cause no harm
He felt no need to ring alarm
He put her there to make her quiet
To put a stop to all the riot

He forgot about her in all the peace
He never meant her life to cease
He read the book and felt so wrong
Through all his anger his sister was gone
