I'm Sorry

If only you could know the pain I feel
Maybe you would take it all away
I would give anything just to hear you say
I’m sorry
Broken hearted and beaten down
I get up and stumble through another long day
Thinking maybe, just maybe, this will be the day you say
I’m sorry
Uncommon thoughts always cluttering my mind
As my soul tears and my conscience begins to fade
Am I so ugly that you won’t look my way and say
I’m sorry
Solace still eludes me and tempts my dreams
My dreams begins to subside as my skins begins to decay
You did this to me, why won’t you say
I’m sorry
Temptress of evil and all the things I need
Just can’t help but feel that I have been betrayed
Make no mistake, somehow I’m going to make you say
I’m sorry
I regret what I’m about to do
But somehow I just have to make this go away
For all that still love me I’m sorry to say
I’m sorry
Watching me as I sacrifice pride and dignity
The end has come so fast and today is the day
And ironically I finally got you to say
I’m sorry
