My Angel

by Manic Imperfection   Dec 24, 2004

The angel puts her powder white hand against the cold glass window.
She peers into the glass at the soul inside.

So battered and so broken
So torn and so hurt.

That girl is praying, prayers so deep and full of selfless want.

The angel has a crystal clear tear streaming down her cheek as the hurt child weeps.

Praying to God but not sure if he hears, the girl wants a different life so far far from here.

She wants liberation from this saddistic life, it makes no sence only brings strife.

The angel knows what she must do, liberate this child... It\'s what she was sent to do.

She slips into the dark cold of the room and lifts the girls head.

\"You have lived a life so unfair and so full of pain\"... \"So young and so beautiful\"... \"But in the same so hurt\"

My angel took my hand and together we fell into the comfort of the dark.

For once in my life I am free from hurt and free from pain.

Thank God for my angel, the one that saved me.
