A Red Rivulet’s Blade

by Ð맆îñ¥   Dec 28, 2004

The knife’s in my hand.
The blood is all over
But mainly on him.

His chest was bear when I slashed it.
Now it is a stream of crimson,
But a stream so still, for he is dead.

I killed him, and I meant to.
The things he did, I couldn’t take it.
He deserved to die, but I hacked him.

I cannot escape from him this time,
Even the law will try to catch me
Because I never told them before.

The floor soaks in the fluid.
It drinks it slowly.
I whisper a prayer and vanish.

I go missing.
They can’t find me.
They must know it was me.

I scream at night
When I face my nightmare
Of that blade and his body.

His chest will bear my cuts
Time will swallow the hate;
I will regret the murder.

But he will never reach me again
He stands against me no more.
I came out top because I breathe this toxic air.
I can take it.

I’m at my summit.
From now it’s downhill.
I feel his gaze.

They finally find me.
Only I hear that snigger.
They can’t reach me really.
Though I am called evil
I know there’s some good
And god will forgive me

*i did not kill anyone - just so you know*
