THE EARTH AWAKES^^^

This is a poem to those thousands and countries affected by the recent earth quake! My heart goes for those affected and pray they be consoled!

Billows of water rose so high
Forming a wall of offence to kill
Driven by a mad and drunken Tsunamis
From coast to coast, shore to shore

I stood in bewilderment, gazing
Lost to reality that has come to make a mark
Leaving in its tracks total destruction
Making a home for both the brave and strong

As I watch millions homeless
As I see the battered bodies
As I reflect on the errors of right
And the sense wrong makes,
I ask what we are here for.
What comes and who is next?

We are all swept by cursed winds
Modernity has changed our minds
Because others have warped what we believe
To them it is commerce and we are dead meat.

Within seconds, life was so useless
The life giver comes to take life
Swallowed by the source of its sustenance
What game? The earth awakes.
