What’s My Life Worth?

by Ð맆îñ¥   Dec 30, 2004

If I were to die,
Yes people would be sorry but
They didn’t know me, its no big deal.

They put a value on lives,
Die and someone gets money.
Are we worth it, or much more?

If I weren’t born, there’s no compensation.
I’m not important – not really.
No one ever knew who I was.

Is my life worth the same as yours?
Is the King ten of me?
Should he be?

Is my value lost in death?
Damaged packaging and that
Or is it all inside?

Am I valued on looks taste or mind,
Character, friends or home?
Maybe I’m not a number, a price.

I am worth what the world wants to pay.
To the one who loves I’m priceless
I’m free and that’s how I want to stay.
