Signature

by Ð맆îñ¥   Dec 30, 2004

Not sure where to put this, any ideas?

I’ve signed my life away
Right on the dotted line.

I might leave something behind,
Something before I die.

I’ll sign my … something.
I need something to show I was here.

Where can I lay my signature,
The floor or the bed?

My body writes the words,
Jagged now not the smooth flow before.

I’ve signed my signature.
This life is my past.

The contract holds me.
My promise keeps me.

Finally, I’m gone but still
There is my signature

The thing I left behind
Left for someone to find.
