In my arms do you feel comfort,
In your eyes do I feel important.

Scars with such regret and shame,
do we both carry.

Sharing redemption's kiss,
Fogiving as one in the same

Many days have I removed your burden,
Many of nights you have mended my heart.

Forever standing by me,
It was no longer a fight for pride
Protecting you always,
It was no longer a fear of uncertainty

Sorrow filled hate,
laced with memories of the past
brings crimson tears running again

Walls of many years I let down,
My heart was exposed
Your gates did you open to me

We took a chance on emotions and passion only to be denied honest love's freedom to substain itself

    hey!!! omg i havent been on here in so long. you would not believe what has been going on. my parents found most of my poems that were on my computer last month and well...i'm in a private christian school right now. at least i can still get on the internet seventh period sometimes. but for the past couple of months everything has gotten horrible! but at least i'm surviving it very slowly. i can barely walk though because of the bruises i have. good thing no one has noticed here at my new school. i have to go right now but check out my new poem. it has a new style and i want you to read it to tell me if you like it or not. bty i love this poem!!! **HUGS**
