In a Broken Fairytale

by BrokenMisery   Jan 2, 2005

Earth isn't heaven, its hell
The story's all wrong
True happiness doesn't exist,
It can't ever belong…

In a far away place
In once upon a time
Open the fairytale,
Seven dwarfs or nine?
Read each drop of magic
Every perfect ending
No relationship is tragic…
Now who is pretending?

Is life pain or perception?
Look in the mirror,
Try to find a reflection…
What you see,
Is not reality,
So follow the storyline,
Of once upon a time
In a broken fairytale…

Mirror, mirror
Crack and shatter
Split to pieces
Why does it matter?
Where is the peace in war?
Where is the heaven in hell?
Where is the flower but splattered in blood…
Lying underneath, the unopened bud
What happened to dreams that are true?
Instead of nightmares that reign, that rule
What is the story?
But pain, not glory…

Earth isn't heaven, its hell
The story's all wrong
True happiness doesn't exist,
It can't ever belong

So follow the storyline
Of once upon a time
In a broken fairytale…

Of once upon a time
In a broken fairytale…

That nicely relates to the fairytale thing. Nefarious.
