The Truth

by BrokenMisery   Oct 6, 2006

Pierced skin and wrinkled hands
Poisoned by your touch
(you whispered to me, you told me)

Cradled desire
Nightmare in the dream
Watering eyes and shaking hands

The alphabet could never spell what you taught me

Bound tightly
Change of the tongue
Fear lies in dutiful actions

Language could never speak what you made me

You whispered to me
You told me
The truth

I am nothing.
