A blessing or a curse

Is love a blessing or a curse
That throws itself upon us
No-one can see it coming
To its power we are helpless

To some it is a blessing
The feeling that grows inside
Can be compared to no other
And neither can it hide

To others it is a curse
A hurt that tears trough the soul
The heart cannot be mended
It is left with an open hole

Is love a blessing or a curse
No one can really tell
Til that special person comes along
And puts us through heaven..or hell
