Helping is [Heaven/Hell]

by Luke   Jan 4, 2005

I see Hell everyday,
But I keep my secret guarded-
Drop them all the hint,
And maybe I'll get them started-

I'm not afraid of tommorow-
I can see the worlds on fire,
Burning in it's sorrow-
I see through the eyes of someone else-

I know that I can help if I try-
Everyday something new ahead-
Maybe the child won't die,
Maybe I'll drown in the red-

Could it really be such a horrible secret?
All I do is try to help them live-
It tears me apart on the inside...
Takes all the love I have to give-

I see Heaven every day,
But I keep my secret guarded-
Drop them all the hint,
Show them what I started

Sad but still cute (I dunno why it's cute, I just think it is). Also the '-' thingies in it make it a truly interesting read. Funny how a small thing like an extra symbol can make a difference...
I think I've got another favourite poet ;) (ie. you).

Nice work on this one, the poem has great structure, the lines flow easliy. Not a single thing wrong. Keep it up and you'll go far.
