To day dream

by »«¤ß詤»«   Jan 9, 2005

I am trying hard
not to day dream
because it makes
everything imaginary seem
not made up any more but oh so real
but what is wrong with this?
what is the deal?
If i dream of myself
flying through the air
to find myself in front
of an evil dragons glare
and to slaughter that beast
and to sit down with a king
and eat my rewarding feast
so what if i think of that perfect guy
his soft golden curls
and the tint of blue in his right eye
so what if i dream about
lying on a tropical beach
the hot sun glaring
and the limits at my reach
the only problem with this is
the fact it isn't real
that hot guys touch
i cannot really feel
the wind in my
hair and face
starts to disappear forever
with out a trace
yes, the only problem
with day dreaming is
that, thats all it is
it isn't true
but leaves you feeling
down and blue
it creates false hopes
and sends you down
a spiraling fast vivid slope
to a life that is not real
your very own world
that is so surreal
daydreaming...............
not real
