Imagine this...

by ~Kady~   Jan 9, 2005

Imagine yourself walking down a park
Wind blowing, sending a whisper through each tree
Leaves falling beautifully around you
And you never realize that around you is so empty

The golden sun above peeking through
Everything seems to be moving slowly
You close your eyes as you keep walking
How could anything interrupt such beauty

Now imagine a large gust of wind blow through
Everything which once was light is now blackened
A storm so fierce had made its way to you
Lightning flashed and the thunder loudly roared

You look to the sky which is caked with gray
And in that instant, everything is dead
Warnings come from the whispers of the trees
It begins to rain, and rains fire in your head

There are hundreds of people around you now
Hurrying to get to somewhere dry and warm
You have not noticed these people before
They keep coming like a large swarm

Everyone begins to scream
You then realize they are screaming at you
You see your family in the crowd angry as ever
Turning your head you find your friends there too

The whole world has turned against you
No one loves you like they use to
You fall to your knees crying
They wont go away, these thoughts have now got you

They strip every good feeling you have away from you
You feel as though nothing can save you from this pain
You are so far deep it's too late to come to the surface
Thoughts make you believe in things that are not true, and you begin to feel vain

Then you feel something strike you and everything is now black
The thoughts disappeared leaving you alone in silence
The silence is then broken by screams and worried voices
You open your eyes and look around to find everyone with the same abearance

Then pain begins to grow throughout you
Your feel something sticky around you, your head pounds, your leg throbs, and your arm is numb
You can't move your head, but move your eyes to find out what happened
Then you see it, you shut your eyes, how could you have been so dumb

Tears seep through your closed eyes
The image of the 18-wheeler is in clear view
It is because of your thoughts, which now left you, that caused you to be hit
It is because of your thoughts that this real pain grew

Time is running short, you wished you never have wanted pain
For this pain is too much
You pray to the God that you gave up
In hopes that he'll save you with just one touch

As you fade out, you feel yourself being uncurled
Wanting to scream bloody murder with every single move
But the screams never came as you feel warmth spread around you
As you are lifted you smile, the time left that you have you improve

And then you fade into the depths of your empty mind
Never to see the world in your eyes again, never to speak to your friends again
You feel good as you are lifted, but a small emptiness still hangs
Finally forgetting for the first time, you look foreword to the new world you are about to begin
