Ink

-Ink-

Ink
is a black blade
cutting the hearts of lovers
and yet
the etchings will forever remain
unspoken.

Ink
is a friend
to those lost souls forgotten
who at last spill their hearts
and yet
their stories will forever remain
silent.

Ink
is a cloud drifting carefree
exploring the depths of the sky
the eye of the sea
and yet
their travels will forever remain
on paper.

Using ink to make a journey, whether that be physical, mental or emotional is a great idea. Really enjoyed this one.
