The Destiny of Loneliness

by ashley   Jan 13, 2005

Sitting in the darkness,
In a corner of my room,
Strangled by the shadows,
Suffocating from the gloom…
Choking on my tears,
Escaping my expressionless eyes,
Ignorant people, passing by,
Oblivious to my silent cries…
Thrashing uselessly about,
Against these unbreakable chains,
Now strong and unrelenting,
From life’s unmerciful pains…
Drowning from the crimson,
Pouring thickly from my scars,
Reflecting all the years I’ve spent,
Bound behind my cages bars…
Locked up tight,
Without the key,
Which lies buried,
Deep within me…
I can’t get it out,
No matter how I try,
And so I sit in my corner,
In the darkness and cry…
Tolerating the shadow,
That tortures my beaten soul,
Suffering the seclusion,
Until I lose control…
Nobody will save me,
They will all come to late,
To save my body,
From my condemned fate…
