Narrator

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Jan 13, 2005

I was there, I saw him die
His life ended before my eyes
And yet, I didn't help, I didn't move
I just watched his life end...

I watched him lie there,
Gasping for breath
Trying to defeat death,
Although he knew it was near...

He lay on the ground,
His shirt soaked in blood,
Creating a puddle,
Soaking his body and everything around.

His eyes showed the horror
That his mouth was unable to speak.
The puddle got bigger
The longer he fought for life.

I couldn't call for help,
I didn't move,
I just stood there
And watched his life end...
