Cat's Eye

by FTS Miles   Jan 15, 2005

Cat's eye, penetrating sight,
Seeking, probing into the night.
Cat's eye, premeditated stalking,
From no prey nor darkness balking.
Cat's eye, tragic curious
Ever intuitive but never spurious.
Cat's eye, resolute in stance,
Guardian of beloved mate and manse.
Cat's eye, vivid, passionate, intense,
Dancer’s grace and poet’s purr sans pretense.
Cat's eye, goddess' creature,
Powerful, sensual, spiritual teacher.
Cat's eye, twilight wraith,
Claws of hope and pounce of faith.
Cat's eye, mirroring hawkish stare
Hunter to hunter, an eternal pair.

My favorite part was where you compared the cat with the hawk. Fabulous. The language is superb and the images you present are wonderful:)
