Snowflakes

by DeludedHonesty   Jan 21, 2005

I stare out at the snow,
It is just so beautiful,
And so pure,
Everything this world isn't.

Snow makes everything,
Look so white and innocent,
Covering the death and destruction,
Of our lifestyle.

It always bothers me,
When someone steps out into,
The fresh fallen snow,
I feel as if it was ruined.

I think to myself,
Can't we have one,
Just one perfect thing,
In this terrible world?

When snow melts,
It becomes spring,
And that gives me,
New hope for a better world.

After all if you can accept,
The beauty that every snow flake,
Is different then you can accept,
That people too are different.

So whenever you think,
That someone is just to different,
Remember the snowflake,
And hope the person doesn't melt away as quickly,
As the beautiful snowflake.
